Gingerbread is half Android-devices, and the version of Jelly Bean gained 6%
Google is again summarized versions of the Android operating system for smartphones and tablets. Earlier we wrote about a similar statistics at the beginning of last month, but now the situation has changed (though not dramatically). Thus, according to the new information-based operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread running just over half of Android-devices - 50.8%, whereas according to previous data the numbers were 54.2%. Clearly, this is quite an old version of gradually losing ground, but still in the lead. Administered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, in turn, works 27.5% of smartphones and tablets, the Android 2.2 Froyo - 10,3%, and on such Older versions like Android 2.1 Eclair and Android 3.2 Honeycomb - 2,7% and 1,6% respectively. With regard to the latest versions - Android 4.1 and 4.2 Jelly Bean - together they gained 6.7%, while a month ago Jelly Bean share was only 2.7%. Data about the used versions of Android were collected from devices, through which the access to Google Play.
