Or you can visit the Developer University at CES, where software engineer Anupam Nath from Sony will host a session called “Developer opportunities with Sony SmartWatch ecosystem”. Get the full story after the jump!
The 2013 AT&T Developer Summit is a special developer focused event packed with valuable news and information about emerging technologies and offers opportunities to network with top industry professionals and experts. The year’s event is held at the Palms Casino Resort where you’ll find a sponsor expo booth, developer lounge, speaker sessions, sponsored nightclubs, and it all concludes with a private concert at Rock @ Rain featuring The Killers. Come visit our booth at this event to see our latest products and talk to us about how we can help you become a more successful developer!
The CEA MoDev Hackathon is where developers compete on the world’s technology stage at the International CES. This special event will be a live competition to see who’s got the best travel or adventure-related app idea and the skills to bring it to life in just one day. Twenty-five teams of up to four people will compete for glory and over $25,000 in cash and prizes. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sony is an associate sponsor of this event, which takes place on Wednesday, the 9th of January, 2013, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Finally, you also have the chance to get an inside look into the Sony SmartWatch extension development and ecosystem at Sony software engineer Anupam Nath’s session at the CES Developer University. The CES Developer University is a unique event focused on Developers and the App Economy, sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). Here developers can go to one place to learn about the latest developer programs directly from multiple company representatives. This year, DevU will be held on January 10th at the Las Vegas Convention Center, from 9AM to 5PM in Room S228, and 1PM to 5PM in Room S227.
The session “Developer opportunities with Sony SmartWatch ecosystem” is from 4PM to 4:30PM in Room S228. Here, you’ll get the secrets for app discovery and how Sony has helped developers redefine how people use SmartWatch. You’ll also learn how easy it is to extend your current app as a SmartWatch extension.
If you want to attend as an audience member, all you need to do is register for CES. There is no separate charge for Developer University. If you’re registered for CES, you can attend DevU!
