NVIDIA introduced a new mobile CPU - NVIDIA Tegra 4

NVIDIA Corporation today introduced the NVIDIA Tegra 4, which, in her words, is the world's fastest single-chip processor, characterized by record-breaking performance and battery life to provide uninterrupted power the smartphones and tablets, gaming devices, infotainment and navigation systems in cars as well as PCs.
Formerly known under the code name «Wayne», Tegra 4 processor contains 72 specially designed core NVIDIA GeForce GPU, which gives a six performance over Tegra 3 processor, providing a more realistic gaming experience and support displays with higher resolution. The new processor is also the first use of the most powerful quad-core ARM CPU, Cortex-A15, which guarantees 2.6 times faster web browsing performance and revolutionary applications.
Tegra 4 also offers support for the worldwide distribution network of 4G LTE through an additional module - a fifth-generation processor NVIDIA Icera i500. More efficient and occupies 40% of the dialup, i500 provides four times higher processing capabilities than its predecessor.
Among the distinctive features of the processor Tegra 4 is allocated computing architecture photography, which automatically create HDR photos and videos by combining the computing power of GPU, CPU and processor signal processing camera images.
HDR-shooting function captures images, including the shot with a flash, the same as seen by the human eye, with all the details in both lit and in the dark areas.
Built for maximum energy efficiency, the processor Tegra 4 contains the core of the second generation of cost-effective for low power consumption during normal operation and PRISM 2 Display technology to reduce power consumption backlight, while ensuring a high quality image.
In normal use Tegra 4 consumes 45% less power than its predecessor, the Tegra 3 processor. So, on the phones new processor delivers up to 14 hours of HD video playback.
