Sony officially unveiled its flagship smartphone Xperia Z

Sony Mobile Communications Company introduced its new flagship smartphone, running the operating system Android - Xperia Z. This smartphone is equipped with a 5-inch Full HD (1920x1080) screen Reality Display, quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, 13 MP camera and support for 4G LTE networks. Xperia Z will go on sale in the first quarter of 2013.

 

Submitted to the novelty is equipped with screen Reality Display, supports proprietary technology Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, matrix Exmor RS - the world's first Matrix-enabled video in HDR (High Dynamic Range) for smartphones, as well as a special power-saving mode STAMINA, whereby smartphone with the manufacturer, may be waiting for longer than four or more times.

According to the company, Xperia Z is designed using high quality materials and will introduce a new design concept OmniBalance with slightly rounded edges and a smooth reflective surfaces on all sides. Despite the slim 7.9 mm thick Xperia Z has great strength, achieved through the use of tempered glass and shock-film on the front and rear of the machine, and a high level of protection against dust and water (IP55 and IP57).

In the first quarter of 2013 to the Russian market also go smartphone Xperia ZL. Xperia ZL model has similar with Xperia Z specifications. The smartphone has a classic design and has a smaller size for the same five-inch diagonal screen.

Xperia Z and Xperia ZL will be available with OS Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and soon after that will be upgraded to version 4.2.
