Two Panasonic Toughpad tablet running Windows 8 and Android ICS Pro


Panasonic has introduced two tablet at CES of the fortified line of Toughpad. Model Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 is equipped with 10-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and running the operating system Windows 8 Pro. In turn, the tablet Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has a 7-inch touch screen 1024 x 600 pixels and is based on the software platform Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Both devices are MIL-STD-810G for protection from moisture, dust, shock and other adverse environmental effects.
Tablet Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 based on the 1.9-GHz processor Intel Core i5-3437U vPro (Ivy Bridge), is equipped with a 128-GB solid-state drive (expandable to 256 GB), up to 8 GB RAM and a slot for microSD (optional) . One battery charge is enough to run the device for 8 hours. Among tablet connectivity - USB 3.0 and 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n and optional LTE or 3G.
In turn, Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 is based on dual-core processor TI OMAP 4660 processor with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz, equipped with 1 GB RAM, 16 GB of flash memory. Also the tablet has two cameras: the 13 megapixel (on the back) and a 1.3-megapixel (front). Battery is sufficient for up to 8 hours of operation. Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 will be released in March and will cost $ 2900, while the Toughpad JT-B1 appear earlier - in February and will retail for $ 1300.
