LG has sold 10 million LTE smartphones
South Korean company LG Electronics announced that it had sold more than 10 million smartphones with support for LTE worldwide.
As stated by LG, its success is due to the expansion of its presence in this segment, as well as the earliest time to market, thus emphasizing its leadership in research and development.
Over the past year, LG has released LTE smartphones such important markets as the U.S., Japan, Germany and South Korea. But in recent weeks, the company began promoting its global LTE smartphone LG Optimus G 50 countries.
