Huawei CEO Denies Rumors On $330 Price Tag Of Ascend P6, Says “Reasonable Price” Is Between $490 To $570
Huawei Ascend P6 is not yet released by the China based company. Recently, there were rumors saying that the device is going to available for the price of RMB $1990 ($330). But the Huawei CEO denies the $330 price tag of the device.
Earlier today, the company CEO Richard Yu posted at his Weibo and said that the price of Huawei Ascend P6 is not RMB $1999 (#330) that’s circulating around the gadget world. Yu condemns on the rumors and said these rumors were started by the western company to damage the image of the company.
“Those experienced in the industry said that they love the Huawei Ascend P6 and thought that the device should be priced at RMB $3000 ($490). While some people said that the Huawei Ascend P6 should be priced at RMB $3500 ($570) in order to fulfil the high end image of the device”
“Huawei isn’t emphasizing on high pricing and high profits. The Huawei Ascend P Series is an affordable smartphone line with nice design. There were rumors stated that the Huawei Ascend P6 will be priced at RMB $1999 ($330).
