Lexand enters the market of smart phones

The Russian company "Laboratory Leksand" (brand Lexand) is a new segment - the segment of smartphones running the operating system Android. The first smartphone brand - Lexand Callisto - was first shown at the end of April 2013 at the exhibition Consumer Electronics & Photo Expo 2013 in Moscow.Now the company has officially announced the launch of its sales. Feature of the device is supplied: it includes just two back panels. The first is a conventional battery cover. The second uses the special panel that covers the display, thereby protecting it from damage. In fact, the second panel is playing the role of "cover-books." Smartphone Lexand Callisto has a 5-inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 8-megapixel main camera, front camera for video with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels, with two slots for SIM cards, GPS-receiver, and wireless adapters Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The basis of the device performs a dual-core gigahertz processor MediaTek MT6577, and it works under the operating system Android 4.0. Sales Lexand Callisto began in mid-May 2013. The cost of new items - 7,990 rubles. Till the end of 2013 the company "Laboratory" Leksand "" plans to bring to the Russian market a whole line of Android-smartphone (at least 7 different classes of devices) with high-resolution screens, quad-core processors and other components of the latest generation.
