Nokia unveiled a new smartphone - Nokia Asha 501


Nokia has introduced a new affordable smartphone with a touchscreen. New product features, according to the manufacturer, cutting-edge design, and where there is a place of social support networks and access to the Internet.
Nokia Asha 501 is powered by the new software platform, which, as noted in the company, takes full advantage of investments in Nokia Smarterphone (absorbed in 2012) and is based on the best aspects of the Series 40 with that. As a result - an evolutionary operating system that is fast, responsive and easy to use. In addition, the platform Asha is also very flexible. This implies that with future updates expect new features and expanded functionality. Developers can create applications for the Nokia Asha 501, which will be compatible with future devices based on the platform Asha.
Asha 501 - this is the first available device Nokia, which uses a micro-SIM. Version will be available with one or two SIM-cards. In addition, this unit is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi module, a function of the lock screen to display the time, 4 GB of internal memory and support for micro-SD memory cards (up to 32GB). A three-inch capacitive screen is protected by tempered glass.
Cost Nokia Asha 501 will be $ 99, excluding taxes and subsidies. New products will be available in 90 countries worldwide in the second quarter.
