Samsung GT-P5200 makes an appearance on Antutu, promises blazing fast performance

An unannounced Samsung device, codenamed “GT-P5200″, makes an appearance on Antutu benchmark.  We all know, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 carried GT-P5100 as its model number. So, we can safely assume that this new device is actually the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. As we have seen with the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, Samsung is no more using “GT-Pxxxx” as its model number for tablet devices, instead it’s using a new type of model number “SM-Txxx”.
Our insider has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 was indeed previously known as GT-P5200 but not anymore, so it looks like this benchmark was done on an early prototype.
GT-P5200-Bench
According to the benchmark, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 packs a blazing fast 1.6GHz CPU (Octa-Core ?), WXVGA (1280×800) display panel and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Keep in mind that benchmarks can easily be manipulated these days, so take this information with a pinch of salt but if this leaked benchmark is to be believed, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is going to be a one blazing fast tablet. The device scored a whopping 24616 points on Antutu benchmark, which brings this into Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 and Samsung Exynos 5 Octa territory. This is the highest score we have seen on any tablet device, the Nexus 10 with Samsung’s Exynos 5 Dual (5250) processor scored around 13K points on Antutu.
