Apple has demonstrated the absence of dispersion versions of iOS
Apple has followed in the footsteps of Google and has published a chart spread versions of its operating system iOS. However, the fundamental difference became much greater uniformity in this diagram. If the operating systemAndroid exists in many versions, which are almost equally distributed between the various devices, the chart of Apple shows that the vast majority of users of its devices, the latest version of the operating system. In the diagram, there are only three versions: iOS 6, iOS 5 and earlier versions. The share of all early accounts for 1% of users. IOS 5 uses 6% of the users, which is largely due to the fact that the first version of the tablet iPad (model 2010) and a version of the iPod Touch players in 2009 did not receive further updates. 93% of users of other devices use the current iOS 6. For comparison, according to the latest data, 36.5% of the users operating system Android are still using version 2.3, which was introduced in the winter of 2010, and 4.8% - even older versions. This difference is due to a completely different approaches of Google and Apple to implement updates of devices connected to the fact that the former is not a monopoly in the manufacture of devices and update the system depend on the manufacturers. At the same time, the current situation shows that Apple simplifies application development and allows most users to quickly get access to the newest software. This confirms the company's plans for the rapid spread of the new operating system iOS 7, which is still only available as a beta version.
