Jelly Bean for Galaxy mini 2 but canceled
Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 is in our country exceptionally popular smartphone. Device from launch combined in itself excellent value possible for your money. Many owners of Galaxy Mini 2 was hope, however, that in accordance with previous reports , the Korean manufacturer will release for the upgrade to Android Jelly Bean. But is it really?
The Spanish branch of Samsung, in its official account twitterowym announced that Galaxy mini 2 will not get updates to Jelly Bean. As the Korean manufacturer motivates your decision? Sorry, we are dealing with the standard "sham", according to which 'Samsung after upgrade will not be able to provide the best experience for users, "which the human language can be explained by the fact that the Galaxy Mini 2 is supposedly too weak components to bear Jelly Bean . Is it really so?
Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 - there will be Jelly Bean
Galaxy mini 2 as the budget smartphone has quite a strong specification. The handset has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM and a 800MHz single-core Cortex-A5 Processor. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Music, which has a virtually identical specification, I got an update to Jelly Bean . I know, I know, music is a more powerful CPU, based on core Cortex-A9. After all, the JB, which is well optimized for weaker smartphones (thanks Project Butter), this should not be a problem.
If the Galaxy Mini 2 really does not get updated to Android 4.1, will translate into a considerable user frustration this device, and (probably) a decrease in its prices on auction sites. Why invest in a smartphone that "rot" with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board? Instead, there are other, more interesting alternatives (like the aforementioned Galaxy Music or Galaxy Young ).
