Zain selects Ericsson to manage Field Operations in Saudi Arabia
The new agreement is part of Zain’s strategy to provide superior network performance and differentiated customer experience

Ericsson has been selected as the sole vendor to handle Zain’s Field Operation Services in Saudi Arabia
Ericsson today announced that it has signed a 3-year managed services agreement with Zain in Saudi Arabia, whereby Ericsson will be fully responsible for the field operations and maintenance of Zain’s network across Saudi Arabia.
The agreement, which marks Ericsson’s first partnership with Zain in Saudi Arabia, will support Zain to allocate newly available resources toward initiatives that better serve end-users, such as strategy, development and research. Rolled out this quarter, Ericsson services include day-to-day operations and maintenance of Zain KSA active and passive infrastructure, providing corrective and preventive maintenance services across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This allows us to develop our core engineering and technology skills in the more strategic business areas that will allow us to provide greater differentiation in advanced products and services, and provide the Kingdom’s premier customer experience.”
