Atom Bay Trail Powered tablet prototype Ships to Samsung Test Center
As we have spotted today, Samsung started testing a new tablet devices based on Intel Bay Trail technology, as the Zauba shipping documents seems to suggest. A prototype tablet holds reference number of FTXI02W0000026 (which is common to Bay Trail Devices, not only by Samsung).

Our guess is that it may be a 10-inch Windows 8 based tablet that will ship later this year. Intel Bay Trail Quad-Core SoC is build in 22nm technology, supporting x86-64 architecture, CPU speeds up to 2.1 Ghz (without Hyper Threading), and packs Intel Gen 7 Ivy Bridge GPU architecture that supports DX11 and promises up to 3x faster graphics processing speeds comparing to current gen GPU built-in in ATOM SoC’s.
