"Kaspersky Lab": in the Russian mobile phones are stolen more often than keys and money

Almost one in four users in Russia over the past 12 months, faced with the loss, theft or damage of fatal personal digital devices - smartphones or tablets. It was found out by a special study conducted around the world to "Kaspersky Lab" in the summer of 2013. Together with the devices permanently disappeared, and saved them valuable personal data of users, experts say. According to the results of the survey, incidents of theft, loss or damage to the device occur regularly. For example, 22% of those surveyed reported that over the past 12 months with them suffered at least one of them. The most common devices are also damaged - reported by 17% of respondents. Theft and loss are less common - 3% of the respondents are faced with such situations. In this case, the loss or theft of mobile devices are more frequent than incidents involving the loss or theft of other valuables.With digital devices because of the loss or theft parted 6% of Russians, with payment cards - 5%, with the keys to the house - 4%, with wallets - 3%, with a clock and passports - 2%.

The survey also shows that personal mobile devices are widely used to store really valuable information. Personal photos and videos to keep their machines 87% of smartphone users and 84% of tablet owners, 43% and 51% of users respectively stored on personal devices, email-message. The share passwords to personal accounts in social networks and mailboxes had 18% and 16% of responses, respectively. Often, smart phones and tablets are used to store not only personal data, but also working email messages (30% of smartphone owners and 36% of tablet owners), as well as working papers (27% and 42%). Financial information, such as passwords for online banking system, retain 13% and 7% of respondents. In other words, on a mobile device to store various valuable information loss which can cause financial losses and even problems at work, said, "Kaspersky Lab"
