Samsung releases July security patch for the Galaxy S7 in UK, Note 5 gets it too
The July security patch that Samsung detailed for its devices earlier this month is gradually being rolled out in different markets. Samsung is now rolling out the July security patch for the Galaxy S7 in the United Kingdom, the Galaxy Note 5 is also getting the same patch in multiple markets across the globe. Google released two Android security patches dated July 1 and July 5, the latest update for the Galaxy S7 in the UK covers both of these patches.
The security patch is also being rolled out for the unlocked Galaxy Note 5 model SM-N920C in various markets across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Update files dated July 12 are now available for download through our firmware section. It goes without saying that this all important security patch will gradually be rolled out in more markets worldwide.
