Samsung Step Into Rio: The world’s first live VR press conference

We created the world’s first live VR press conference to connect journalists in the UK with Team GB athletes 5,761 miles away at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
The live feed was beamed directly to Samsung Galaxy S7 phones and viewed by journalists on the Samsung GearVR headset as they chatted with Helen Glover, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Sir Steve Redgrave and Becky James as if they were sitting right in front of them, all in real-time 360 video.
