Benq announces Windows Mobile 6 enabled T80 and E72

Today in Taipei, Benq (now not with Siemens) announced two phones that run Windows mobile 6, the T80 and E72. The T80 is of slider form factor and has a glossy surface which is also semi transparent. The leds shining through is quite nice and also the keypad with purple leds. The E72 is of a candybar form factor is less fancy and stylish than the T80.

T80 specs:
- 2.2 inch QVGA display
- Windows Mobile 6
- TI OMAP1030 260Mhz
- 64MB RAM / 256 MB ROM
- stereo blueooth
- microSD support
- quadband
- 2 mega pixel camera (with interpolation to 3 mega pixels)
- available Q4 2007
- WLAN/UMA

E72 specs:
- Windows Mobile 6
- triband
-QVGA screen
- WLAN/UMA
- stereo bluetooth
- 2 mega pixel camera
- TI OMAP1030 260Mhz
- 64MB RAM / 128 MB ROM
- available Q3 2007

These are both impressive devices considering they are WM devices (I usually dislike how WM devices look). The T80 is compact and the E72 is even more and also thin. The color schemes are nice (reminds of of the old Nokia series which featured black and red) but I think more conservative options should be available. Nice stuff Benq!
