LG unwraps Google flavoured Chocolate
It's not the Google challenger to iPhone that we've been waiting for but it is the first of LG's Google-loaded handsets. At first sight it seems a chunkier Chocolate than we're used to but it does now come with a hi-res 2in widescreen display - all the better for web browsing with.It sports the usual touch-sensitive controls as well as a Micro SD slot for tunes and a 2MP autofocus camera plus front facing VGA cam for video calls. Sadly it's not HSPDA, so no ultra fast downloads, but it is 3G. Google has contributed its excellent Google Maps and Google Mail apps. You can download them on any phone but it's nice to have them preloaded. We also spied a dedicated YouTube app on an Italian version of the phone. Given the Vodafone branding on the official snaps we wouldn't be surprised to find that on board when it launches here shortly.Essentials LG Ku-580 Price: £TBA On sale: Q3 2007 Contact: http://uk.lge.com/
