Sony Ericsson S500 released and available in Hong Kong
The phone is available in Hong Kong but in very limited quantities. Because of the limited availability, prices have jacked up to between 450-500$ US. I still didn't see any online retailers or Ebay sellers that have this phone in stock yet. Hopefully this situation will change in a week or so, then the price will drop to a more reasonable price. As much as I like this phone, I don't think it is worth over 400$ US. Many people have also reported that the phone is available in Europe (for example in Italy and it costs there 230 Euros).

Sweet! It's finally becoming available, eh, Maximus? I've searched around and haven't been able to find one to buy online yet. :-( I really want this phone.
ReplyDeleteBest price I've seen for pre-ordering is at mobilecityonline for $399.99. The few other places taking pre-orders (that I've seen anyway) have all been higher.
I know you said you've actually gotten to see one in the past. Lucky you! Are you planning on picking one up for yourself?
Fingers crossed that someone will start selling this puppy online soon!
this one is being bought for my girlfriend, i think i'll wait for the price to drop to 300, shouldnt be too long
