The unofficial Olympic Games 2008 phone with outer shell
Looks like another phone trying to cash in on the 2008 Olympics. This is the second Olympic phone I have come across, the first one being the N55. It is of candybar form factor and has an aluminium alloy housing. Here are some specs:
- 2.6 inch QVGA touchscreen
- main 2 mega pixel camera
- front VGA camera
- stereo speakers
- measures 108x51x16 mm (without attachment)
- weighs 98 grams (without attachment)
Now I didn't mention the special feature of the phone. The phone can be transformed into something really big. The special housing that engulfs the phone houses a large 2600 mAh battery which is supposed to ensure a standby time of 68 days (yeah right...). After the transformation the phones weighs 156 grams and obviously larger dimensions. Since it is an Olympics phone it comes with the logo on the back, front and a semi ring design on the back. The antenna doubles as a stylus (weird stuff). Of course the UI had to ripoff Microsoft (XP) and it also has the Nokia hands logo.
