Developer World Wiki competition: Win a P1 smartphone
The Sony Ericsson Developer World Wiki is now editable by all registered Community members - expanded beyond the previous setting of only forum members who have attained the Junior level or above - and to celebrate this, we are launching a competition where the most innovative use of a UIQ 3 API published as a Wiki article will win a new P1 smartphone. All articles need to be published in the UIQ 3 Wiki section by 23.59 Central European Time (CET) on August 27, 2007.
Logged in members can use the Wiki to share information by editing, correcting and adding to existing entries, or by creating new entries and linking to relevant content, allowing the Wiki to grow and evolve. The Wiki has three main sections – Java™ ME, Symbian OS/UIQ 3 and Media – with each section containing subcategories where the individual articles are located. Here you'll find advice, code examples and work-arounds provided by both community members and the Sony Ericsson Developer World team.
Competition details
A Wiki article sharing the most innovative use of a UIQ 3 API contributed by a registered Developer World member will win a P1 smartphone. To be considered in this competition, make sure that your article is relevant to developers and written in English, fills information gaps in the UIQ 3 Wiki section, includes quality code samples and features illustrations such as screenshots or diagrams. Remember that the Wiki is a public space and although we want you to share code snippets, please do not include any confidential information. All competition articles need to be published in the UIQ 3 Wiki section by 23.59 Central European Time (CET) on August 27, 2007.
Members of the Sony Ericsson Developer World team will assess the merit of the published Wiki articles and decide the one winner. Their judgment cannot be contested. The UIQ 3 Wiki article competition is open from now until 23.59 CET on August 27, 2007. The winner will be notified in due course. Competition terms and conditions are here>>
