Another two Chinese phones with WQVGA screens

Man...this is insane. The Chinese are pumping out so many WQVGA screen equipped phones and I wonder when Sony Ericsson will offer their first one (not including their Japanese offerings). I would love to use a WQVGA...so much more screen estate.

Below is the first WQVGA phone and is called the M608. Here are the specs.

- 2.8 inch WQVGA 260K touchscreen
- microSD support
- 1.3 mega pixel camera
- stereo speakers
- stereo bluetooth
- measures 116x51x16 mm
- weighs 80 grams

The phone is large because of the big screen but is very light. It also comes with a 2600 mAh battery to ensure long operating times. That Microsoft badge on the back cracked me up...

The second phone is called the ZT690. It has an all silver design with brushed metal which makes it look good (not that good though). It has a navipad smack in the middle of the keypad, which makes me wonder if it is easy top use. Here are the specs.

- 3 inch widescreen WQVGA 260K touchscreen
- 5 mega pixel camera
- AVI/MP4 support
- microSD support
- stereo speakers
- dual channel memory for faster phone operation
- NES emulator
- built in documents viewer
- measures 117x51x16.5 mm
- weighs 85 grams

The phone is quite huge (because of the large screen) but is relatively light. It has some interesting and useful stuff packed into the phone. It is also inexpensive.
