The Chinese phone with disco lights

This has got to be the phone with the most lights/leds I have ever seen. The whole front is covered by lights that surround the screen that matches the keypad lights and the camera on the back also has lights surrounding it. Now that's alot of lights...I wonder if this affects battery life and if it can turn off.
