MultiVu Video Feed: LG Teams Up With VH1 to Save the Music

All Star Gala in New York City Celebrates Ten Years of Restoring Music Education

The VH1 Save The Music Foundation celebrated ten years of restoring music education programs in more than 1,500 of the nation's public schools with a gala celebration at Lincoln Center in New York City tonight. Hosted by Maria Menounos, the 10th anniversary celebration honored Former President Bill Clinton, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, VH1 Save the Music Founder John Sykes, Mariah Carey and NAMM, the International Music Products Association.

All-star performances included Roger Waters, Jon Bon Jovi, as well as John Mayer. Also on hand, a group of students from VH1 Save the Music grant recipient schools across the country played together for the first time as an all-student orchestra, demonstrating the impact of the VH1 Save the Music Foundation.

The VH1 Save the Music Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of education in America's public schools by restoring music programs in cities across the country and raising public awareness about the importance of music participation for our nation's youth.
