The Smartphone Show, London, UK - October 16, 2007 - The Smartphone Show 2007 kicked off today in London, UK demonstrating the growth and reach of smartphones around the world as well as new technologies to shape the future of mobile. Symbian drives developer innovation with improved Symbian Signed processes and new books
Developing for Symbian OS™ has been made easier and more cheaper for developers worldwide with a new set of Symbian Signed criteria and procedures for testing and signing applications. In addition, two new technical guides were launched, Mobile Python, written by Jürgen Scheible and Developing Software for Symbian OS, Second Edition, written by Steve Babin.
Samsung strengthens open OS strategy and launches new Symbian smartphones
Symbian welcomed Samsung Electronics' commitment to Symbian OS as part of its open OS strategy by announcing and showcasing the latest Samsung smartphones based on Symbian OS: the Samsung i450, i550 and i560.
