GSmart extends partnership with Garmin
GSmart, the mobile phone brand owned by Gigabyte Communications, announced it is introducing a new series of slim 3.5G GPS PDA phones with built-in Garmin Mobile XT navigation into the European market in 2008.
GSmart will be implementing features, including Geotagging photos and GPS tracking, into its new line of GPS PDA phones, the MW700 and MS800. In doing so, GSmart extends its cooperation with Garmin to offer European users reliable map data and navigation on GSmart PDA phones, according to the company.
Following the success of its first cooperation with Garmin in launching the i350, a GPS PDA phone with Garmin Mobile XT in Taiwan and Italy, GSmart will be bringing more Garmin enabled models into European markets, starting with Spain, Italy and France.
