New On-device Debugging tool for UIQ 3-based phones
On-device Debugging is now supported by Sony Ericsson UIQ 3-based phones using the new App TRK tool for UIQ 3.
When developing an application for UIQ 3, you can use the UIQ 3 SDK emulator to debug it but for example when an application refers to phone hardware-specific features, using On-device Debugging is very helpful.
The App TRK tool for UIQ 3 is a small application which you install on your UIQ 3-based phone and it makes it possible to run and debug applications directly from Carbide.c++. It communicates with Carbide over a serial port, either using USB cable, Bluetooth™ or IR.

The App TRK tool is freely available but to use it, a purchased version of Carbide.c++, such as Carbide.c++ Developer Edition, is required.
