LG Electronics Named Best Supplier by Skyworks
Skyworks Solutions has announced it is the recipient of LG Electronics’ Best Supplier Award for 2007. Skyworks provides high performance analog and mixed signal semiconductors suitable for mobile connectivity.
Skyworks said it was selected for the award based on aspects like technology, quality, product reliability and timely delivery. The company was graded as Class A for its contribution last year.
Skyworks Solutions specializes in high performance analog and mixed signal semiconductors. Its power amplifiers, modules and transceivers are also suitable for advanced multimedia handsets. Skyworks also offers products for the automotive, broadband, cellular infrastructure, industrial and medical applications.
Skyworks solutions are being used by LG for its mobile handsets. They are suitable for air interfaces like CDMA and GSM besides being suitable for EDGE and WCDMA for 3G multimode applications.
