Motorola Ships One Millionth Digital Set-Top Box to ONO
Milestone marked by presentation of commemorative digital cable set-top box
MADRID, Spain. – 24 April, 2008 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today celebrated shipping its one millionth digital cable set-top box (STB) to Spanish cable provider ONO. To mark the milestone, Motorola designed a silver STB which was presented to ONO’s chief executive officer Richard Alden during the Cable Congress 2008 in Madrid, Spain.

ONO and Motorola have worked together since 1994 bringing personal media experiences to a national audience in Spain. The Motorola set-top boxes enable ONO to offer services such as digital cable TV, multi-channel pay TV, impulse pay-per-view and video-on-demand.
