MOTO Z10™ – We’re all film-makers now™
Latest Kick Slider from Motorola Inspires Spontaneous Creativity as a Mobile Phone Film Studio
BASINGSTOKE – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) announced the UK release of the much anticipated MOTO™ Z10, which makes shooting, editing and sharing videos directly from your mobile easier than ever before. The mobile phone maker also announced the launch of a national consumer Z10 competition to enable budding filmmakers to showcase their work for a top prize of £10,000.
The MOTO Z10 means that you can be a filmmaker on the fly. It is a complete, pocket-sized, mobile film-studio packed with next-generation 3G technology, which allows you to capture high-quality video, edit clips, create transitions between scenes, and add title slides and a soundtrack. You can even use your mobile network connection to upload your movies and photos directly onto your favourite media-sharing websites. So as soon as you've shot it, your friends and family can be enjoying it — wherever you are.
“With the MOTO Z10, we have transformed the movie making experience into a mobile, social activity. Now, anyone can capture and share life’s moments from almost anywhere in the world and make their unique perspective a part of popular culture”, said James King, UK Marketing Manager, Motorola Inc.
The MOTO Z10 features a 3.2 megapixel camera, with instant launch and auto-focus, which captures photos in one second, while the intelligent auto-save automatically names and saves images directly to a media gallery by content type. Not only this, but the MOTO Z10 also demonstrates incomparable media playback capabilities. The crystal-clear 2.2” QVGA screen displays video at 30 frames per second in millions of colours, allowing you to watch your own films and downloaded content. The handset even comes boxed with the entire ‘The Bourne Trilogy’ already pre-loaded, meaning you can get watching straight away!
The MOTO Z10’s unique ergonomic kick-slider design is built with premium quality materials, including spun stainless steel, polished metallic finish and soft-feel textures. With innovative technology packed into a stylish and sleek design, the MOTO Z10 represents the next generation of mobile device technology for on-the-go visionary consumers.
MOTO Z10 Competition
To celebrate the launch of the MOTO Z10, Motorola is calling all budding Scorseses and frustrated Spielbergs to get involved in its “DirectorME” short film competition. Entrants have the chance to win a MOTO Z10 and the top prize of £10,000 - enough to kick-start a career in film-making or just have some serious fun. For more details, check out www.hellomoto.co.uk.
