Vip, Vodafone and RIM Introduce the BlackBerry Solution in Macedonia
Skopje, Macedonia and Waterloo, ON – Vip operator, a member of mobilkom austria group and Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) announced availability of the BlackBerry® solution in Macedonia. The BlackBerry solution brings together smartphones, software and services to allow easy access to email, phone, calendar, web, multimedia and other applications on the go.
This is the first product launch from Vip following the announcement of their strategic partnership with Vodafone in Macedonia. At launch, Vip will offer BlackBerry® Enterprise Server and BlackBerry® Internet Service with a choice of the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8310 and the BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8100 smartphones.

On March 26, 2007, Vip operator acquired the license worth 10 million euro for third mobile operator in the Republic of Macedonia, after winning on the tender for the 10 year GSM 900/1800 license automatically continued for additional 10 years.
