CyberTAN WiMAX CPE products undergo certification and IOT testing
CyberTAN Technology has sent its WiMAX CPE products to the WiMAX Forum for certification testing and those products have also entered interoperability testing (IOT) with a number of leading equipment providers, including Alcatel-Lucent and Motorola, according to company chairman Gwong-yih Lee.
In addition to WiMAX products, shipments of digital home products and Ethernet passive optical network (EPON) equipment will also be growth drivers for CyberTAN in the second half of 2008, Lee added.
CyberTAN has secured orders for its DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance)-certified digital home products from an international player with shipments to begin in the third quarter of this year, Lee further pointed out.
The company also began small-volume shipments of EPON ONUs (optical network units) recently, with large-volume shipments in China and Japan to follow in the third quarter, Lee noted.
