The number of users of telecommunications services reached 200 thousand PEOPLEnet
Ukrainian mobile operator PEOPLEnet, which provides telecommunications services in CDMA standard and positioning as a provider of high-speed mobile Internet, today announced overcome milestone in 200 thousand subscribers. Thus, the operator subscriber base increased almost doubled since the beginning of the year.
PEOPLEnet began construction of high-speed mobile Internet network in 2006 and became the first 3G operator in Ukraine, starting work on technology 3G 1x EV-DO Revision 0. In July 2007, the first time in Ukraine PEOPLEnet demonstrated the new standard speed EV-DO Revision A and now the operator uses this new technology, which allows for download speeds up to 3.1 Mbps, which allows users are able to quickly download large amounts of information.
Currently, high-speed mobile Internet services from PEOPLEnet residents can take advantage of 37 cities of Ukraine, 14 of which already operates a network-based Rev. A. The nearest plans of the operator - to convert all cities to cover the progressive technology EV-DO Revision A.
Along with speed mobile Internet, PEOPLEnet provides its clients with quality voice communications services, as well as convergent product "2 in 1" (mobile and fixed phone numbers in one), which PEOPLEnet in partnership with CST-Invest, the operator of fixed communications using CDMA technology, first developed and implemented in Ukraine.
