Mail Russia and the company Microsoft signed a cooperation agreement
Russian «Mail Russia» and OOO «Microsoft Rus» concluded an Agreement on Cooperation. As part of the Agreement, the parties will promote cooperation in building a modern IT-infrastructure, monitoring of electronic resources, creating a single e-mail service, as well as exchange of technology and marketing information.
Mail Russia, and Microsoft expressed their intention to implement several projects in critical areas. Among these:
• Building program information and telecommunications infrastructure, which includes a combination of hardware and software components that enforce application software;
• Developing solutions for monitoring and managing IT-infrastructure, including remote administration of workstations and distribution of software in the branch network;
• creation of a single service e-mail and communications, including single electronic address book and the possibility of collective work;
• acquisition of software and training of long-term licensing agreements for use of software products.
• exchange of technology and marketing information, research and testing of new Microsoft technologies, taking into account the interests of both sides.
In implementing joint initiatives under the agreement, Microsoft plans to apply the experience in the field of information technology, the company gained over the years of successful work in the public sector and ventures with leading companies, the postal industry.
