Calling Flash developers: Sony Ericsson at Adobe MAX 2008 events
Sony Ericsson is joining partner Adobe at the upcoming Adobe MAX 2008 events in San Francisco, USA and Milan, Italy to give Flash developers an opportunity to learn more about creating content for Sony Ericsson mobile phones, and in particular how to use Sony Ericsson’s Project Capuchin bridging technology.
There are two Adobe MAX 2008 events - North America at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA, from November 16-19, 2008 and Europe in Milan, Italy from December 1-4, 2008. Below is an overview of how you can meet the Sony Ericsson team at the San Francisco event and learn more about Project Capuchin in a technical session.
Project Capuchin
Sony Ericsson's recently announced Project Capuchin SDK is a set of APIs, a packaging tool, documents and getting-started tutorials that enables developers to bridge the Java™ ME and Adobe® Flash Lite™ programming environments.
Project Capuchin is currently supported by two Sony Ericsson phones, the C905 and G705, and allows developers to combine the richness of both Java ME and Flash Lite by encapsulating Flash Lite content in Java ME applications making content created by Adobe Flash technology appear as Java ME applications. Project Capuchin empowers these two distinct developer communities to leverage their respective expertise to quickly create highly engaging mobile content.
