Huawei Wins Industry Recognition for Its Innovative and Green-Designed Broadband Solution
Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. ("Huawei"), leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, today announced that its NE5000E Cluster Core Router System received InfoVision Award from the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) for its innovation and "Green Design". Huawei has won InfoVision Awards for five consecutive years.
"The IEC's InfoVision Awards give tribute to the top broadband technologies in deployment today. We're pleased to recognize Huawei Technologies as the Winner for its NE5000E Cluster Core Router System in the Core Network Innovation and Advances category," commented IEC President John Janowiak.
Huawei's NE5000E Cluster Core Router features the industry's first 10Tbps switch capacity and forwarding performance architecture, flexible expansion mode and designed to reduce power consumption while meeting the requirements of Next Generation Networks in terms of bandwidth performance, service quality and service provision capabilities. This solution reduces operators' total cost of ownership (TCO) and satisfies the network integration requirements of users in the All-IP era.
"We are honored to win this prestigious award again and to be recognized continually for our contribution to the ALL-IP broadband industry," said Mr. Edward Zhou, director of Huawei Europe Marketing. "This success reaffirms our commitment to developing innovative and 'Green' products, contributing towards creating sustainable development practices within the telecom industry and social responsibility on environment protection. We will continue to focus on our customers' needs, realize their potential and to bring them long-term value."
