“The laboratory Of [kasperskogo]” reported the detection of the new modification of the mobile Trojan Of trojan-SMS.J2ME.Konov.b, mass extended in the social network “[VKontakte]”. Experts note that this is the new stage of the evolution of the propagation of mobile harmful software.

In reality after the installation of the JAVA- application to the cell phone indicated and its starting, Trojan program sends SMS- communication to five short [premium]- numbers, copying, thus, sum for the sent communications from the calculation of the infected telephone. According to the data of the experts “of the laboratories Of [kasperskogo]”, the cost of one SMS- communication, sent away by Trojan from the infected telephone, comprises the order of 250 rubles. The prefixes of communications and numbers themselves are taken from the manifest- file, which is stored inside the jar- archive. In a number of cases the load of Trojan is accompanied by the attempt to obtain [login] and password of the user of site “[VKontakte]” through the false site with the aid of the [fishing]- technologies. After obtaining such data, criminals send to [spam] of on behalf deceived user through its contact- sheet.
