Benefiting from Nokia's switch of its handset chassis supplier from Catcher Technology to Foxconn Technology, Foxconn Technology is expected to see on-quarter revenues growth in the fourth quarter this year, according to a Chinese-language report in The Liberty Times citing market sources.
Foxconn Technology declined to comment on specific clients, noted the paper. But Catcher has dismissed the news by saying the company's projects with all of its major clients are still running.
In additional news, Catcher reported a fire at a plant in Tainan on November 12, but the fire was put out in a short time. Since there was only discarded equipment at the scene, the fire had no impact on the company's operations or shipments, the company said.
