UIQ Technology rose

It was learned that the last remaining in the state of the company UIQ Technology officials received reports of imminent dismissal. The company Sony Ericsson will no longer advance UIQ platform and produce a model based on it, as the reason cited its low popularity among users, and among software developers and operators. UIQ Technology shares were Sony Ericsson and Motorola, both of them, deciding to discontinue development of UIQ, refused to release to the market a number of vehicles scheduled for 2008 and 2009.

The company Sony Ericsson, at the same time, said that UIQ Technology does not cease to operate in one point: For some time now the company will provide financial support to enable it to complete its business gradually. Its staff will be able to find a new job, and the UIQ Technology, may be sold or reorganized. The company Motorola, apparently, any steps to maintain UIQ Technology in the time remaining to make will not.
