Yahoo! Original Program "Primetime in No Time" Surpasses 100 Million Streams

This week, Yahoo! TV's "Primetime in No Time" reached a major milestone for an original online program, surpassing 100 million streams to date. The milestone comes just eight months since its March 2008 launch, and makes "Primetime in No Time" one of the most successful original programs in the history of the Internet.

Created to provide Yahoo! users with a daily comedic, rapid-fire recap of primetime TV's most water cooler-worthy moments, "Primetime in No Time" reaches TV fans exclusively on Yahoo! TV at http://primetime.tv.yahoo.com. It is hosted by comedian Frank Nicotero and brought to users by Verizon.

By covering the biggest TV moments in a timely and irreverent way, "Primetime in No Time" maintains one of the largest audiences of any show on the Web. It now draws an average of four million streams per week on Yahoo! TV.

"It's no accident that 'Primetime in No Time' is a runaway hit with our users, given that prime time programming remains one of America's favorite topics," said Sibyl Goldman, vice president and general manager of Yahoo! Entertainment. "Whether it's a quirky re-cap of a favorite show you may have missed, or one of those guilty pleasures you refuse to watch, we're giving Yahoo! users a snapshot of TV's most talked-about moments each day."

Yahoo!'s formula of creating original content that is timely and contextually relevant has led to some of the most popular original programs on the Web. Its "Fantasy Football Live" program is the most-watched live program on the Internet with as many as 250,000 streams per week. Additionally, the "Yahoo! Sports Minute" and Yahoo! Finance's "Tech Ticker" set the standard for Internet sports and business programs with 115,000 and 420,000 average daily streams respectively in the past month (Yahoo! internal data).
