Comstar UTS has received a license for providing telecommunications services in 14 regions of Russia

The operator Comstar UTS announced that it had licenses for the provision of telematics service providers and service providers to transfer data, except for service providers to transfer data for transmission of voice information on the territory of 14 regions of Russia.

The operator received a license granting the right to telematics service providers in the Tula, Tambov, Smolensk, Oryol, Belgorod, Bryansk, Omsk, Kursk, Kostroma, Vologda, Lipetsk region, the Altai Krai, Udmurdskoy and Kabardino-Balkar Republic, as well as giving the right to service connection for data transfer, except for service providers to transfer data for transmission of voice information on the territory of the Udmurt Republic, Tula, Tambov, Smolensk, Belgorod and Vologda regions and the Altai Territory.

The validity of all of the above licenses - from 28 October 2008 to October 28, 2013. To date, the Company «Comstar UTS», including subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as the company «Streaming TV», is present in 67 Russian cities, providing telephony, broadband Internet access, pay TV and other telecommunication services.
