Handset component revenues poised to decline in December
Most leading Taiwan-based handset component suppliers are expected to see their consolidated revenues continue to fall in December after recording a sequential decline of 10-30% in the previous month, according to market sources.
While handset acoustic solution provider Merry Electronics is likely to see its revenues for all of 2008 stay flat as compared to 2007, keypad makers Ichia Technologies and Silitech Technology are expected to see their revenues grow at a relatively slow pace of 5-15% in 2008, the sources indicated.
