Taiwan market: TWM launches daily-charged 3.5G Internet-access service
Taiwan Mobile (TWM), on December 3, announced the launch of HSDPA mobile Internet-access service based on a daily charge scheme.
TWM's daily charge rates for 3.5G access are NT$100 (US$3) for one day, NT$250 for three days, and NT$350 for five days, the company indicated.
TWM is the third provider to offer per day 3.5G mobile Internet-access services in Taiwan. Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) charges a rate of NT$250 for three days of access or NT$450 for seven days, and Vibo Telecom charges a daily rate of NT$39.
