By 2012 mobile phones will have a universal zaryadnik
Organization GSMA and 17 largest mobile operators and equipment manufacturers have announced the beginning of the general standard of universal chargers for the new mobile phones. This initiative, led by the GSMA, is aimed at in the mobile industry started using the new universal, more efficient chargers.
The aim of the project is to establish by 2012 universal charger (UCS), which can be used for any mobile devices: the connection will be through the widespread standard connector micro-USB. Manufacturers entered into agreements between themselves, that on 1 January 2012 the majority of devices will be equipped with such a universal connector.
The advantage of this approach, of course, is that for mobile phones from different manufacturers will use the same zaryadnik, and problems with the incompatibility of connectors going into the past.
