Huawei and Intel WiMAX-organized laboratory
The company Huawei Technologies and Intel Corporation have announced the beginning of a new laboratory for testing WiMAX equipment for interoperability.
The laboratory is equipped with infrastructure and WiMAX solutions set to Huawei and Intel. For the tests, it simulates a real environment, which helps to create commercially reasonable, mature and quickly implemented solutions for WiMAX operators.
Huawei Company has provided equipment - Base stations (BS, Base Station) WiMAX DBS3900, received a certificate Wave2 Forum WiMAX Forum, ASN-GW (Access Service Node Gateway) and a CSN. Intel Corporation has established a laboratory in a wide range of devices based controllers WiMAX, including the adapter Intel WiMAX / Wi-Fi Link 5050 series for laptops with hardware platform Intel Centrino 2, as well as equipment for testing the compatibility and productivity solutions.
