Accton secures WiMAX orders from Saudi Arabia client, says paper

Accton Technology has landed US$2.4 million worth of orders for WiMAX equipment from a telecom service provider in Saudi Arabia, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.

Accton secured the order following a business promotion trip to the Middle East together with 13 other Taiwan companies in February, said the paper, noting that the trade promotion group was organized by the Taiwan government-backed Institute for Information Industry (III).
