The Mexico Tourism Board Swings into Action at The 2009 Sony Ericsson Open

Tennis enthusiasts will experience the wonders of Mexico

MIAMI, -- The Mexico Tourism Board is participating in this year's 2009 Sony Ericsson Open that began on March 25th and will run through April 5th. Celebrating its 25th year, the Sony Ericsson Open returns to the Tennis Center at Crandon Park featuring the top 77 men and the top 76 women, tennis players from around the globe.

As part of the promotional activities at the Ericsson, The Mexico Tourism Board is hosting a fashion show featuring the spring/summer 2009 collection of Mexican fashion house Pineda-Covalin. Mexican born designers Cristina Pineda and Ricardo Covalin are showcasing their unique and colorful designs highlighting their pride in the greatness of Mexican culture and in all of the resources their country has to offer visitors.

Your money goes further in Mexico," said Teresa Villarreal, director of the Mexico Tourism Board office in Miami.

Throughout the tennis match, The Mexico Tourism Board will also be raffling travel packages giving fans the opportunity to visit Mexico for an exciting vacation. At the booth, The Mexico Tourism Board is welcoming tennis enthusiasts with gifts and information on what they can expect when visiting Mexico including top attractions, activities, dining and shopping.
