Palm: Mojo SDK became available, is preparing an emulator for Palm OS webOS

At Web 2.0 company disclosed details about the Palm software for developers of applications for the new operating system webOS. Remember, the first and so far the only communicator based on it - Palm Pre - are now preparing to release. In particular, Michael Abbott (Michael Abbott), vice president of Palm software and services, announced the expansion of access to Mojo SDK. Previously, access to a package of application development has been limited, but now they can take advantage of a wide range of creators programs. Share this Mojo SDK will be open later this year.

In addition, Palm announced the development of its own bundle of services. They will be available to end users that they will be able to access their favorite web-applications, and developers who can embed them in their applications. When Mojo SDK will be open, it will include XMPP-service Mojo Messaging Service. As soon as new information will be posted on the service, notice of its appearance will have on all concerned.

Palm also announced an early release of the emulator Classic, which is currently being developed by MotionApps. It will enable the majority of applications for Palm OS work on a new platform webOS. The emulator will be available simultaneously with the release of Communicator, Palm Pre at Sprint.
