SBSH Calendar Touch 2.1 - Quick Introduction

What's new in Calendar Touch 2.1.1?

1. Scrolling improvements

The Touch Scroll feature for the Tasks, List, and Daily view has been optimized to make scrolling performance more responsive than before, especially when you have a long list of items.

2. Load time improvements

Several users have reported that load times have suffered due to a large number of completed tasks being loaded when the application starts. To help remedy this situation, I've added a feature in the Tasks settings section to limit the number of completed tasks to load.

The setting is called "Ignore Complete Tasks Older Than". You can select to ignore tasks which have a date of completion older than one week ago, two weeks ago, one month, three months, six months, or one year ago. You can also choose to ignore all completed tasks, or include all completed tasks. The default is to not load tasks that were completed more than two weeks ago.

3. Added Private option to Tasks

The ability to mark a task as private was missing in the previous version. This has been added.

4. Settings Reset Bug Fixed

There were a few reports of Calendar Touch settings reverting to the defaults in certain situations when used with the command-line to view appointments using external apps such as Pocket Breeze. This has been fixed.

5. Remove category color/icon bug fixed

There was a bug that prevented the removal of a color or an icon from a category to persist. This has been fixed.

6. Resource DLL name change

There was a possible incompatibility running Calendar Touch alongside certain third party UI extensions that caused Calendar Touch icons to fail to load. This should now be resolved.

7. Trial Key Reset

We have internally reset the trial version key so that users who had installed and uninstalled any prior version of Calendar Touch can now try the latest version for a new trial period.
